Message Tracking Logs Report Script and Database

This link will take you to a reporting solution which allows you to keep track of mailbox sizes, number of messages, total messages, etc... saved to an Access database. This script uses WMI and could be converted to SQL for a more robust (and cheaper) solution for those that have a large installed base of systems. Perl Disk Utilization Report

Windows IT Pro magazine has an article from August 1999 that is still a great solution for those of you trying to keep track of disk space for servers located throughout your enterprise. I've implemented this as a quick check to see what the disk capacity is for the drive volumes I have the Exchange database installed on. We all know that .edb files have a tendency to grow very quickly...

You need to be familiar with Perl to use the script, and I also found an issue attempting to use PPM (Perl package manager) behind a firewall. The recommended solutions didn't work for me and I ended up finding a system that had direct access for the install.
